Sited on a steeply sloping wooded bluff at the end of the street, the existing single-story home failed to meet the needs of a growing family. By adding first out, then over the former structure, we were able to house the bedrooms, a family loft, and a library while enhancing the more public functions of the home on the floor below. A sweeping terrace wraps the southern façade taking advantage of the scenic Ohio River Valley and the horizon beyond.
