Eighth & Sycamore is a mixed-use, high-rise located at the intersection of Eighth and Sycamore Streets in downtown Cincinnati, Ohio. The 17-story, 388,075 SF building includes 133 rental units, amenity spaces, three retail spaces at street level, and a 500-space garage. The project’s color, rhythm, and orderly structure blend with the historic context of late 19th-century brick buildings. To enliven the tower's surface, the metal panels are coated with Kolorshift, an iridescent color-changing coating. The rain screen shifts between a dark red and a bright green, depending on one’s vantage point and the sunlight.
