An existing eight-story parking garage became the site for a seven floor, LEED certified apartment addition. The 111-unit design responds to the constraints of the structure, vertical transportation, and egress of the garage.

The vertical massing of the bay living spaces produces a crenellated facade yielding a domestic articulation. The pattern repeats itself across the noth and east façades until they culminate at the building’s northeast corner with a series of overlapping units and balconies.
